Single shot shotguns

Currently have 3 cooey model 84's, in excellent original condition.. Two 12 gauge and a .410. Two cooey 37A's, as new..12 gauge and .410. Three winchester 37A's, excellent plus..12 gauge and two 20's. Love my singles

I have an old B.S.A Single X11 loving restored to a better than original factory finish that is an absolute joy to carry and shoot. I've owned Iver Johnsons and a Model 37 Winchester but the BSA is superior to both in my unasked for opinion.

Yes I do like a single shot shotgun. I've had two for sometime now. Both are first year Winchester Model 37's. The first year had the pig-tail opening lever and the barrel was marked FULL apposed to subsequent models marked CHOKE. There's other differences with the first year but these are the two most obvious. One of them is as close to new as it gets and the other has been used but very well cared for. The roll stamp "Steel Built" means, aside from the stock, the gun is all steel with no plastic or aluminum or alloy parts. There's beauty in simplicity

I use an old CIL 402 in the sweet 16 gauge. It got a facelift with and oil Finnish on the wood and a grind to fit pad. It has accounted for a pile of grouse and one ptarmigan.

Baikal hammerless 2.5" .410.

I bought it for my wife for the acreage because it's simple but her arthritis won't allow her to open the action with the lever.

Shame because it is a nice little gun.

Winchester Steebuilt 37 16 gauge great pond gun to clean out the water rats in my bass pond. Al steel with nice walnut and built like a tank.

Yep - favourite is Savage 24 in 22/410. It's a single-shot shotgun with a 22 on top!!! Awesome game getter.

Elgoibar in 410 is so light and it folds in half.

Backpacker in 410 is awesome too

Couple sponsors sell british side lever 410s. Usually of webley n Scott name. The side lever may be easier for your wife

I have 4...three Ithaca SBT's, a 4E Flues, 4E Knick, 5E Knick and an Iver Johnson Champion 410. My wife owns two, a Browning BT-99 Micro and a Perazzi TM1. We shoot trap with all but the IJ...it just sits in the safe. It was my Grandparents "partridge" gun.

OP hasn’t been seen since 2013!
Anyway , still have my first shotgun ,a CIL model 402 12 gauge . I shot trap with it until I could afford a trap gun. Also hunted small game with it.
Also have a Cooey 410 and a short barrelled , folding Turkish 410

Would love to have a Winchester Model 37 in 28 gauge.

At present I have three 28 gauge single shots.A Winchester Cooey Model 84,Winchester Cooey Model 840 and Winchester Model 370.In the past I have had a number of 28 gauge single shots.Such as a Savage Model 220 and Winchester Model 37A guns

Been using the 28 gauge Winchester Model 370 a bit this hunting season.
