Marlin 1894 Trapper in 10mm

Video showed that the 40 would just move ahead and the extractor would not clip over the rim = I'll definitely try it if I can ever get my hands on one of these Marlins. I have an 18" barreled T/C Contender carbine barrel in 10mm I have no issues with firing 40 in it.
does the shorter 40 just slam back into the bolt face and under the extractor upon firing?

No shooting today but I am putting a scope on it using my old Weaver base that I had on my 24" octagon barreled 1894 in 45 Colt oh my that was a long time ago glad I keep stuff.

I'm going to mount my almost new Leupold VX3 1.5-5x20mm scope for now with brand new med Weaver rings that I bought a couple years ago.

I also installed a Cabelas butt stock ammo holder same one that I have on my 18" barreled T/C Contender carbine in 10mm I keep two 8/9 round 1911 mags from my Colt Delta Elite in 10mm in the pouch and 7 rounds in the side pouch shell holder slots.

I find I can load a lot faster without fumbling ammo around from these 1911 mags.

I'll pass on one of those 10mm's. T'would be nice to have one in .41 magnum though.
The 41 magnum cartridge is an awesome hard hitting caliber that hits as hard as a 44 magnum without the harsher recoil.

I too am waiting for Ruger/Marlin Stainless Laminate SBL or Trapper in the venerable 41 magnum.

Absolutely love the 41 magnum!....:)

Congratulations Camp Cook!....:)

Although we are a little jealous, ours will show up soon.

I'm thinking you have the first one in Canada, very cool indeed.

Please let us know which brand of 10mm auto ammunition she likes. Apparently they can be somewhat picky on ammo brands. (reliable feeding, and accuracy)
