Marlin 1894 Trapper in 10mm

Video showed that the 40 would just move ahead and the extractor would not clip over the rim = I'll definitely try it if I can ever get my hands on one of these Marlins. I have an 18" barreled T/C Contender carbine barrel in 10mm I have no issues with firing 40 in it.

does the shorter 40 just slam back into the bolt face and under the extractor upon firing?

Pulls on the extractor , because the round head spaces of the case mourh rim. The 40sw is to short to headspace in a 10mm chamber
