Is it just the photo quality or does the upper gun have a sort of boomerang shaped checkering? In have bought a few cases from Jeff's in the past, but the only one I have left is my double motor case that my Westley Richards guns stay in.

You can buy the Tourbon brand cases on Amazon. They are a little over $400 CDN.Is there a Canadian dealer of new vintage style take down cases? Like the venatti posted above or is a negrini the closest one can find in canada?

Those you posted look good
The quality was definitely there. It was the design. The barrel section instead of being a sleeve was essentially a 20" flap sewn over. Kinda like the single big pocket on a pull over sweater thats open on both ends. Fine for a baikal but for my nicer guns I wanted protection not metal on metal or metal on wood. The material and workmanship was greatEverything I have seen from Tourbon including cases and leather slip on pads has been a quality level I don't find acceptable. And for reference I have been more than happy with cases from Jeff's/Venatti.
Interesting because that is completely different than what I have seen. Now the last I looked at something from Tourbon was probably pre Covid so maybe they have upgraded. The quality was definitely there. It was the design.
