Does my leupold scope just suck or...

There is nothing valuable about this scope.
The scope may not be valuable to you, but when they're in good working condition, they're just as good as most available today.

They may not appeal to you because they aren't side adjustable, but for those of us who've used them, they still do the job just as well.

Yes. I tried using my hands and a pot grippy, and she don't move which is why I assumed it was a non AO and leupold just set it and locked it in place where it was. Must be just seized. And no never had adjustable and never felt the need for it. It just happened to come with the rifle I bought.
Why would they put range estimation marking on a non AO objective?

Did you read my question, or just quote it?
You've asked a few, can you be more specific?
I saw a comment you made along the lines of "why send it to someone else when they will adjust the eyepiece to their eye....." and it seemed to be a reply to the OP who was saying that sending it away was near the top of his to do list?

I was simply suggesting and hoping that the "send it away" was to Korth for warranty service and not some rando who would only try to adjust the eye piece to their prescription as you seemed to be suggesting?

Hopefully that makes sense.... I did 20 grams of creatine this morning so it makes sense to me..... :)

If they can fix it for the cost of shipping why not ?

I'll run the serials in the next day or 2 here.

If its legit Itll get sent to korth. For now I have a good working redfield revenge that'll go on.

Thanks for the help and patience. I didn't know what I didn't know!

There is a good chance Korth will replace the scope with a newer model if they can't fix it due it's age.... that new scope will be worth more then the one he has now which needs repair. If they can repair it it will be worth more but not as much as a modern replacement.

Your welcome, let us know how it turns out in the end!

The one you quoted at the top of this page, that I then quoted with, "Same question as above." and you got confused about.
Your synopsis is close, but not exactly what I asked. You could always go back and actually read what I wrote, and If you're still struggling to understand it it, I can try saying it a different way.

Sure explain it again, I've read enough... if my synopsis is close but not exactly what you asked fill me in.

It sounded like you thought he was going to send it to someone else other then Korth but why don't you explain who you thought he was going to send it to when he wrote "send it away"

What if the person at Korth doesn't have the same vision he does and adjusts the ocular to their eye instead of his? Will he still blame the scope, or Korth?

That's not going to happen.

If individual eye sight variance was an important factor in how scopes are serviced and repaired it would be a difficult process.
