Mine also is a BLR .257 Roberts, it's now pretty much my wife's deer rifle now.. I also owened a browning A5 that I sold a few years ago.

You took that wrong... I was just pointing out that it was a short action as opposed to the usual long action... I have owned half a dozen rifles chambered for .257 Roberts and they have all been long actions...
