Brand New to Canada: SG-12 "SPAS"

I hope all of you that were lucky enough to grab one enjoy it. Unfortunately I'm going to have to wait for the next shipment. I'm hoping the 18-in model comes on the next one. According to the frt, the sg12 has an 18-in version.

Non-shooting initial impression:

I love it. Fit and finish is perfectly fine. No loose screws on mine.

Sites are really high. Stock is a chin weld and is going to be awful to shoot. Same as the real one, I assume. I'd have maybe preferred a little thicker sheet steel for the stock but I don't know what the real one was like.

Feeds and ejects heavy snap caps in pump mode without issue.

Latch that locks stock when folded was tight as mentioned by others but that's because there is a rubber bumper under it for shipping. Take that out and it works much better. Still a hair tight but getting better as I play with it.

The button to fold the butt plate piece is fiddly to do but that's the nature of spring pin detents. Probably get easier as everything wears in.

The arm hook is stupid and impractical, just like the real one. Locks in firmly.

Button to switch between pump and auto works without any issues.

Summary: impractical, heavy, and bulky shotgun that will suck to shoot. With a fixed stock it would be pretty decent. No one is buying this to be a workhorse gun. I'm very happy with it and would absolutely buy it all over again.

Is TI going to offer the fixed stock for sale? One reviewer on the Gen 1 found it much more comfortable, as Armedsask above hypothesized. Ideally, you could swap between the two types depending if your preference on a given day was comfort or cosplay.

Just because they listed it for 2000$, doesn't mean they got 2000$
I know, but it is marked as sold now lol had hundreds of views and saved like 10 times; so who knows. Some people have more money than brains. Wouldn't surprise me if it sold for that.

Why would you want a fixed stock? The whole point of this gun is its looks. Who care about comfort.

An idiot is born every minute, some people just can’t help themselves, and that goes for both ends of that deal.
Some people have more cash than time. 900$ is nothing for some folks.

A lot of people also don't do any research at all. If I saw one of these for $2K and had no idea what was going on, I'd want to snap it up, BUT I'd first look into where they could have got a prohib gun, assumed it was a copy, and found either this thread or TI's page. 5 mins of reading and I'd be on the waiting list for the next round.

It's like when people ask "chat" a question and accept the answer without blinking. Chat is so leftist-skewed it's insane. Gaslights constantly for the progressives.

If this was a one off, I'd have paid the $2K. I was pleasantly surprised at the sub $1K price. It's still a lot of money, but it's fair when you consider they're charging $2K+ for goddamn lever guns now. Welcome to Canada.

2 to 3 mths and whoever paid 2k must think its a one off. Foolish 900.00 loss. SMRT
No, guys who paid premium $ for the opportunity to own it NOW don’t usually care too much about stuff like this … I am one of these guys. If I want it NOW… it’s gotta be right NOW.. With that being said , I’m waiting on 18” version ..
