Sig Carbine

As for the carbine with the 14.3 barrel the point ability has been increased twofold, the balance is the best of all the SWISS ARMS family and I say to those who are holding out - run to your nearest dealer to pick up one of the finest carbines on the market.

I'd one up that to the finest carbine on the market....

The railed forearm is "necessary for the rifle to function", how???

Who's quote is that?? Not mine!

If you price out both MR223 and any of the SA rifles with the same features, the SA is still MUCH cheaper. Nothing you say will change that.

LOL whatever...

If we could. There is no set price on the MR223, it isn't out yet.
When it does come out, there will be a few features that make the HK superior to the SA. And that you can't put a price on.

How much is the SA in 7.62x51? oh wait, It doesn't come in 7.62x51...:slap:
Grenade launcher...nope!

When someone starts making s**t up just to argue......it's pretty lame.

Has anyone got any more pictures of the Carbines? I'd like to pick one up when I'm done training for the summer, and I'd like some more photos to tide me over until then.

Thanks!

Brad

The Sig flatop works perfect with Dr Optic or Low Aimpoint T1

Not sure what model you got there but neither the Dr or T-1 are low enough to allow use of the diopter sight as I just tried. Yes they work fine but do not allow use of the rear diopter, the front sight blade could still be seen tho.

Looks like you cut the shroud off the front sight and no diopter.

I just tried the T-1 and it almost co-witnessed with the standard sight just a c-hair off and not sure where the dot will end up when sighted.

I have a T-1 mounted on a B+T rail and have no problem cowitnessing with the irons.
I run my T-1 to the very back of the rail, right in front of the diopter.
I usually use the notch so i can gain full view when using the T-1 reddot.

I couldnt sight it properly using the notch but I could using the other peep holes on the diopter , also none of this is sighted in. Where does your dot from the T-1 end up? in the front shroad?

It sits on the top of the front post.
Did you flip up the larger front post when using the notch?
It should fall onto the insert of the larger front post.

I think your problem is that your probably running the T-1 too forward on the rail where as I'm running it right back next to the diopter.

No, I was using the thinner front sight post and the T-1 as far forward as it could go, I will give it a try the way you have it next time.
Thanks

Well dude, I don't know what to say to that. A DR Optic is lower than the aimpoint and I can't cowitness on either of mine with it.

Perhaps you can post a pic of your sight picture...

It shouldn't matter where on the rail it is...

If I have my choice, I would have flattop for every model. I am mounting an Aimpoint on an ARMSM68 on the flatop Classic Green Carbine. That is PERFECT. The view is way too cluttered with a hooded front site for co-witnessing.
