Misticplayer,
What do think about the Sightron Slll compare to Zeiss Conquest?
I am about to buy another Zeiss in 6.5-20x50. I have never looked through the S Slll but I have read the reviews on it and all were very good.
I prefer to check out the optics before I buy them. the problem with S Slll is that no one sells them around where I live.
My F Class rifles all use the Super Sniper. Three are 20X and one is 16X. For your application the 20X would be the better choice. Scope is also available as a 10X. I think all three are the same size.
This is a solid 30MM scope with decent reticle and optics.
I have 5 years on two of them. The clicks are 100% accurate. The knobs have a O ring to make the turret waterproof. This makes the clicks kinda muddy. On my wife's I took the O rings off, so the clicks have a solid click feel.
Best thing about these scopes is that they cost about $300.

I just got a ZEISS Congress at Wholesales & Sports for around $1000, and the Optic is every bit as Good As NIGHT FORCE!

So you like it...you think it is as good as a NF, but how is it compare to the Mark 4?I got to Agree, Best Bang for the BUCK!
I just got myself a ZEISS Congress at Wholesales & Sport for 1G, The Optic are very comparable to NightForce .
Ya, me too. I might see you there.I think I am going to Like it, very bright and clear, I think the next scope is going tobe another Zeiss in 30mm tube, I am heading down to Shooting edge to check out the big one.
Having used scopes with 1/8th clicks I really don't see much of a point in it. Unless you can shoot better than 1/4 MOA accuracy there isn't much point in having finer clicks than that. That being said it wouldn't really be high on my list of criteria on a scope, both with accomplish the same thing. You just have to dial in a lot more 'clicks' in order to adjust for a long range with 1/8th clicks than you would have to with 1/4 clicks.

BTW, I have also decide to get another Zeiss. Mine has the Z-Plex. What is yours?
Beer Baron,,, the difference between 1/4 and 1/8 th clicks at 100 is small, but at 1000 yds, it is quite noticable.
For the budget mentioned I'd buy ( did buy one and love it) the Bushnell 4200 Tactical 6x24x50mm , Large easily adjusted target knobs, resettable to zero once sighted in. Able to take a beating , lifetime warr. Returns to zero everytime and I think it's under $700.00
