As I stated before, there have been more delays then I had ever imagined. Our biggest task will be to ship out all the rifles within a few days of them arriving. Canceling an order does not realy acomplish much other putting you back to the begining of someone elses waiting list, or no rifle at all.

If you wish to hold a grudge or take it personal that we had delays beyond our control, I would ask you to hold to your word and never buy from us. I would sooner spend more time helping other customers then wasting it on you.

you pulling your order bcos marlin couldnt precisely tell you when it gonna be shipped to you is one thing but saying you never buying anything from frontier is abit much , whats really bugging you ?

i hardly think you have waited as long as some us have , we been waiting over 10 months for the original large shipment , its a long journey , many miles travel and many hoops to jump , and for us we dont know when it gonna be here , i can only guess before xmas . i for one are not cancelling , this opportunity dont come by often , when ever i can buy a rifle far cheaper than our neighbour to the south , its a good thing .

I have to defend Frontier Taxidermy here. I live in Saskatoon and have done a fair volume of mail order goods including bulk ammo shipped by bus. Everything has always shipped on time.

Give Marlin a call and you won't be disappointed.
 
i aswell have noting but good to say. im sure most of us would be pulling our hair out just like Marlin is. i can only say its been real good dealing in the past. thanks again

I blame Frontier for the economic crisis in the US and for world hunger, and for depression and cancer and smelly farts.....

Actually no..Im more than happy to wait for a PRE-ORDERED rifle. If not getting a rifle (that wasnt even in stock) within a week was the biggest issue in my life..Id be a much happier person lol.
 
I applaud Marlin and the Frontier gang for doing what they can in these uncertain times! Shipping delays and customs problems are certainly beyond any dealers' control.

I cancelled my order cause I got tired of waiting , but bought a really great .17hmr from frontier . I do not think it is fair to say you will never buy anything from them again because of this boondoggle. SIR ordered from the same batch , so maybe you will never buy anything from them?

Thank you Frontier for the groovy .17hmr that I got within a few days of ordering it !!
 
I wonder if somebody has emailed or tried to phone customs regarding the hold up. Maybe they would have a more definitive answer.
 
I bought a rifle from Frontier recently and I was pleased with their service. Obviously things didn't pan out as predicted on this import, but I doubt it was in any way done in bad faith. There's been a lot go down recently that few predicted.
 
The man who owns Frontier is obviously doing his best in a bad situation and deserves some consideration.I cannot imagine a more frustrating occupation than being a firearms dealer.If these men were not willing to put up with the mind-boggling red-tape and bull-s**t of importing and selling cool guns we would only have the horror of the EE as a source of new toys.

I have dealt with Marlin many times and it pisses me off to hear that kind of SH#@ talk.A more honest guy you won`t meet ,we need fellows like this in this crazy industry.

I cant believe people are getting so worked up, does'nt anyone know that if you complain toooo much you will get an Ulcer!!! this is not healthy, Cmon people this is a gun forum, Happy Happy Joy Joy this is are Hobby are livelyhood, not are Horror, Halloween is over. It's time to start a SKS support group, maybe one of the Mods will read this and start one!!!!!! Haaaaaaa
