Those grips can be found online. I've heard that Tok's are thin in the grip, I've got big hands so it would be the first thing that I'd change, they look better too.

The M213 looks different on Norinco's web site.

It's got a much better looking grip. I hope that's what we're getting...

Indeed it looks better!

I wish CanAm would let us know how many of these Tokarev M213's they expect. I hope they can at least fulfill all current orders. :(

If it's a large shipment and they expect to have leftovers, I might actually consider buying more and keep one intact/new in box for collecting purposes. I think it's gonna be a while before we see a new & decent pistol for that price.

That's it.... I'ms gettin' me one.........

Finally - validated by the 1911 man himself!

Always a sucker for a bargain.... Besides, you can't much go wrong getting an econo pistola that launches the very commonly available 9mm Para round.... ;)

Like Xmas morning for you too...only there is the "gulp factor" I'm sure when you have a lot of capital invested and the box is opened to find...Chinese tractor parts :)

I dunno having a tractor with a snow blade on the front is paying off quite handsomely around these parts these days.....  :D

Having experience with the Tok in the original caliber, I'd suggest that it would be better in 9mm. To be honest, a lot of the milsurp stuff available for it in 7.62x25 seems to be submachine gun ammo, so is too hot for the tok and damages it. Combine that with the possible future drought of milsurp ammo, and I'll take two of these in 9mm thank you very much.

Good on you Canam!! You found what people where looking for and brought it in!

I'm not sure I've ever seen a damaged Tok, except I've heard that some Bulgarian 7.62 is dangerously hot...the Norinco stuff and the Czech S&B 7.62 (corrosive) is fine however.

I've seen one. Consistantly malfunctioned and brass jammed in the chamber. We looked for a burr in the chamber, but it was completely smooth. Admittedly I don't know a heck of a lot about them though, so god knows. I like the gun otherwise, and would probably buy one in both calibers if they were the same price..... buuuutttttt.... at $99 I may just stick to the 9mm's:)

P.S. - the 7.62x25 tok I saw could have just been a lemon, however it really acted like it was shooting with way overpressured ammo.

Ahh... The $99 price tag bring so many regretful memories... Last time I saw this was maybe 10 years ago when a local sporting goods store called LeBaron used to sell the Norinco SKS (new in the box) with the full military furniture, bayonet, cleaning kits, etc... for $99.

I bought a more expensive & also new SKS-D at that store (for $139) and said to myself that I'd buy the other ones at some point, but hesitated... hoping for something better to come along. Well, eventually they've all sold out, never to come back at that price ever again (actually, the store stopped selling surplus stuff shortly after). The prices went up and I've spent many days since where I wished I had bought at least a couple more... at that price, you can't lose money - you can always sell it for at least the same price you've paid if you're ever stuck financially... so there's no way to lose on a deal like that. Live and learn.

Thought of the day: Firearms are non-perishable and tend to gain value with time... so don't be afraid to stock up! :D
