Russian SKS45 long thread.

I just watched a wholesaler finish pinning a few crates of these yesterday. I may have to put my name on a few for the "free" labor I put in.

I'm not exactly sure where they were going, but they were supposedly new, never issued and they come with sling, cleaning kit, stripper clips etc.

Just today I was notified that we will be getting no fewer then 80 rifles in Unissued original condition shipped Jan 5th. These come from the same batch as the Ell Wood Epps shipment. Any one who had ordered a hand select rifle will get one of these rifles. I will provide more details as they are made available. Because of the few numbers there will not be any extras in unissued condition. Only those who preordered will be able to recieve these.

sweet!

Ah at last... Russian sks goodness has arrived! Ill post pics of it shortly. Weird thing about it though... It doesn't have a stamp on the top indicating which factory and what date it was made in. What's that mean?

Thanx Curtton. You're a pretty cool guy.

I had all these pages about the SKS on my computer which I would've looked up again already for reference... if I had my comp. Browsing on a cellphone... not fun. Unless you have an iphone. But anyways, it looks like mine has a little star to the left of the receiver. Tula 55-56 according to your post.
Now... I'm gonna have to get rid of this cosmoline, which by the way, doesn't look as bad as I thought it'd be. Either that, or I could just leave the cosmoline and not fire this thing...
