pshh, fancy shmancy, had i mangled one of those i might have had to have used one of my remaining guns for myself:p

here's a couple quick shots of the front of the receiver, my barrel is getting the bead hole tapped at the moment so i don't have it right now.

I was hoping to see some of the sxs. But thanks. Try and clean out all those metal filings before they become a problem later on.

Obviously you have seen many nice SXS's. I have to do a little more research (just don't understand: If all parts are within spec, then how hard it can be to assemble them?)

Now, question:

Have you tried the two-barrel shooting thing?

If you mean do I own and shoot doubles the answer is yes.
 
I just fired the "backpacker"/singles version 6 hours ago at my range. Man......kicked like a mule. It feels like I am standing there, and waiting for a taekwando champion to kick me in the shoulder. Shot 3 buckshots, and.......quit. Shoulder still tender and sore 6 hours later. And oh yeah...really loud noise.

I probably would try to find some recoil pad to help soften the blow.

Did the really loud noise happen at about the time you felt the really hard kick?

Being a 13" barrel, it is really loud, really, really loud when it is fired. I am glad I double up on the hearing protection today.

I was trying to pattern the shotgun today. But, after three shots, I just have to stop. I will do it next time and post the result here after I install a recoil pad.
