pshh, fancy shmancy, had i mangled one of those i might have had to have used one of my remaining guns for myself
here's a couple quick shots of the front of the receiver, my barrel is getting the bead hole tapped at the moment so i don't have it right now.

hope that shows what you want.
Your gun didn't come with a bead?here's a couple quick shots of the front of the receiver, my barrel is getting the bead hole tapped at the moment so i don't have it right now.
Having been into some of the better gun making operations, including H&H, CNC machining only takes you so far even with the best equipment. Bringing it all together requires hand fitting by someone who knows what he is doing.
Obviously you have seen many nice SXS's. I have to do a little more research (just don't understand: If all parts are within spec, then how hard it can be to assemble them?)
Now, question:
Have you tried the two-barrel shooting thing?

If you mean do I own and shoot doubles the answer is yes.Obviously you have seen many nice SXS's. I have to do a little more research (just don't understand: If all parts are within spec, then how hard it can be to assemble them?)

I mean two barrels fire same time.
I just fired the "backpacker"/singles version 6 hours ago at my range. Man......kicked like a mule. It feels like I am standing there, and waiting for a taekwando champion to kick me in the shoulder. Shot 3 buckshots, and.......quit. Shoulder still tender and sore 6 hours later. And oh yeah...really loud noise.
I probably would try to find some recoil pad to help soften the blow.

Did the really loud noise happen at about the time you felt the really hard kick?
Being a 13" barrel, it is really loud, really, really loud when it is fired. I am glad I double up on the hearing protection today.Loud noise
