Russian SKS45 long thread.

And to anyone who cares... that Yorkton Home Hardware apparently carries some really good SKSs... I asked for a pic but I'm not sure if I'll get a reply from that. I'd buy one if they have what I'm looking for.

What... Home Hardware carry's SKS's? Never would of guessed that... I have relatives in Melville...might have to make a phone call...

In the london area Goble"s just got 10 Bell refurbs in. If any one is looking. The one i saw was non matching good condition shooter.AGE

I have to ask,....any new news from SIR/Cabelas?

Something isn't passing the sniff test with the SIR SKS's. I am beginning to see great irony in the fact that many people spoke for rifles over a year ago to make certain they would get one. These same early birds still have no rifles despite the fact that the same rifles could be bought seemingly everywhere across Canada on the spur of the moment.

They are not the only ones that have not received them. A lot of places are waiting on the backlog of getting them pinned. I have found lots out there, but they will not sell them or even let you order them until they are pinned and ready to be sold. I have called almost every where in western Canada. I found some for sale in Red Deer, but they will only sell them over the counter and will not ship them.

I just got off the phone with Home Hardware in Yorkton. He HAD 6 with matching #'s left and now he has 4....LOL.

He has several non-matching, painted bolt, ones left. $200 is a good price for a nice shooter. Matching #'s same price. They have it listed on their web site and give a deal when bought with ammo. Ask for ROD.

I guess since our sponsors do not have any left, we might as well start buying up the supply...

it'd be nice if I didnt have to call Tradeex to order stuff, and they had it online.... I cant call them while Im in work, and they are closed by the time I get home. (and I dont want to send my CC info over email)

:(
