May I ask why? It's not like you can own them in Canada, unless you got grandfathered in for a semi or converted auto. Is it because they are used my stereotypical gang members in those movies that are 'based on a true story'?

I thought that I'd already posted here, but nope, I guess not.
By far, the worst gun that I ever owned was a Ruko in 22 mag. The gun wasn't all that inaccurate, but the metal was of such poor quality that the firing pin eventually bent to where it wouldn't work. I had the firing pin re-tempered and straightened by a smith, and sold it ASAP. Honorable mention goes to a Browning A-bolt Stainless Stalker in 30-06. I'd fired about 1000 rounds through it, and cycled it possibly another 100 times beyond that. Upon cleaning one day, I noticed a small hole through the bolt body where the aluminum had been worn through; sold it ASAP.

Care to elaborate ? I personally own one in .300 wm A fine rifle nothing wrong with it. I have more rifles than I care to reveal , suffice it to say I have been into firearms all my life, I spend more on rifles a month than a lot of folks make in a month, literally. I know my fiearms well, and I do all my own work on them. Now the 710 had issues I will agree to but those were fixed with the 770. The 770 is great , accurate to a fault right out of the box. I'm not trying to start a post war or anything , just trying to understand why someone would trash a rifle that I would bet they don't even own or know anything about , other than to maybe having shot one and just didn't like it. Just curious as to the reasoning

useless and ugly , but not utterly useless, still have yet to find one completely and utterly useless
