The factory front and rear sights were removed, the factory upper receiver scope mount plate was removed, the rail on the upper receiver was trimmed and installed, the skeleton stock was modified to attach to the receiver and the entire rifle was refinished with baked-on Gun Kote.

There is a very big difference between "doing" and "doing properly".I guess I just see it differently because there's nothing there that I or most people with basic mechanical skills and tools couldn't not do them selves.
I'll know after spending some 'getting to know you' range time with the rifle this coming Thursday. When I initially purchased it, I did not 'Pass Go' or 'Collect $200' (or take it to the range) ...it went directly to Casey for the customization work.
Thursday should be fun...

Where did you pick up the 'Leupold' Prismatic 1x14mm scope? If you don't mind me asking. Also, it would be cool if you posted a review of the scope ....and the rifle (nice work!).
