Marlin XL7 Reports

Your right. Spending more is not bad lol but it would kinda defeat my purpose of buying this inexpensive rifle in the first place. LOL I didn't "need" another rifle, but I figured for that price, one more that can shoot well could not hurt.

Well, the 30-06 group I posted the picture of earlier in this thread was shot with a 3-9X40 Elite 3200, so the whole outfit cost way less than $600. :)

I put a used 3-9 Scopechief on the 270, so that one is GTG for under $450!

great choice on the XL7 guys. still love mine, haven't shot it much lately with the snow and all.... i'm a big puss in the winter, i get cold!!!! looking forward to the warmer season. i'm just waiting for the lam stocks to come out and i'll be picking up a new one in 25/06 (only 270 30/06 for 2009)if and when available..... saw picks in the new marlin cat last week on a trip to lebaron's. can't wait till they come out and can't wait for a new one.:D

We actually had one black 30/06 come in as a camo which messed up our orders as we had it held for a client. There could be one less from the above depending if he switches out.

any idea on when the lam stocks will be available? pricing? i could probably be talked into a .270 before my wife goes on EI for the last six months of her mat leave!!!!:D

if the lams are going to be special order just pm me when you have some details and i could leave deposit if needed. i'm a looser like that, always have to be the first to have something....
 
you know what really sucks? us nutters on the westcoast dont have much to choose from as far as dealers are concerned. We're down to about three in all of vancouver, That reeeeally sucks! hopefully someday well be big and wise like our prairie brothers and get our own big box outdoor store. Till then....we can only dream of variety and bargains.
 
I'll get some pics up of the Camo XL7's on Saturday. No word yet on the wood or the XS7's from the distributor. We are almost out again but it looks like a few more will roll in at the end of March, including a few black 25/06's which will be the first we've been able to get.
 
i was on lebaron's website yest. and they have the XL7W and XL7L in .270 and 30/06 listed for 634$ each. now of course they probably will never have them in stock but nice to know some rough pricing.

There are a few wood ones in the US. My distributor was just not first on the list this time. :(
I'll get a few ASAP.
 
Here's a pic of a camo XL7 for those that were curious as to the color. Too bad; its one of only two left in stock. :(
Hopefully, more coming late this month.
