Norinco M4

Just so you know, on a C-8 with a 14.5" barrel, one click on the front sight will move the MPI 4.7 cm, at 100 meters.

With a 20" bbl on a C-7, one click will move the MPI 3.5 cm at 100m.

If you're running a 16" bbl? each click will probably move you around 4 cm up or down at 100m.

NS

Shooting a standard gun against a metric target , Not good .

LOL

My M4 has a 14.5" barrel. I don't expect super accuracy. It's the old pie plate at 100 yards. I will use the iron sights for close in shooting. 4.7 cm = 1.8" My M4 is all in english ( imperial ) units so all the parts and graduations are in english units. I can switch back and forth pretty fast as I was a mechanical designer for years.

I found mine quite accurate . How is the trigger pull on yours . Mine was terrible out of the box ?

I find I have to put a firm squeeze on the trigger but otherwise not too bad. I think it would be better to have a slightly smoother trigger action though. Yes, I think the rifle could be quite accurate up to say 75 yards. What range have you shot yours at. 100? I am still ranging in at 25 yards.

Impressive

I am truly impressed. You are a good marksman. Hope I do as well. I think a scope will help as my eyesight is not very good. Thanks.

Below is a response from Marstar to a e-mail I sent at the beginning of Feb asking when they would arrive

CQ 5.56;
Thank you for your confidence, you obviously appreciate that Marstar leads in pricing....

"any plans to bring in some CQ M4geries this year?"
There are many factors to consider, firts and foremost, will the government change the designation on these ??

Best Regards
John

Still waiting on mine from Newfoundland. They don't seem to check their answering machine. Phoned several times to get a tracking # and no returned calls.
