I just got a new handgun

Is it bad that I just figured out who traded what for what.... damn that was confusing at first.........

And I haven't even had my morning coffee today... I dunno what my excuse is for the past 4 days...

Wow, cause reading this thread one would never accuse you of being biased and considering you are the best shot on CGN why do you even bother posting. You are wasting your time typing, you could be out handing a$$(as you put it) right this minute.

Let me guess, back in high school you threw the pigskin a quarter mile as well?

Ladies and gentlemen we are in the presence of greatness, we should all buy Glocks, read more of TDC's pontifications and be thankful that he takes the time to impart his unbiased, humble and impartial thoughts.

Please everyone, no more posts, TDC has it all figured out,

Patrick

My opinion is a little biased. I prefer pistols that are simple and work, like Glocks. My debate above was between Beretta and SIG neither of which I own.

Back in high school I didn't play ball, I spent my time shooting.:)

Good trade and a very nice pistol you have. I love those grips. I only shot a Berretta once. Slavex done in Abbotsford used to shoot one in competition and liked it. He certainly was hampered by it and handed me my a$$ more than once (Read most of the time, ok all of the time:D).

As your economic situation changes, and it will, you will be like a lot of us and acquire toys you like and use. The benefit of this forum is you get to hear from a lot of folks with different experiences. It won't take you long to figure out who has the experiences and....

I don't have one.

An opinion, I mean. I'm a dead-on n00b when it comes to handguns: All my opinions are based on stuff I've read, though I want that to change very, very soon. The reason I fixated on the CZ for my first handgun (maybe *next* year, if the job sitch doesn't change soon) is because of what people have said and written, and the fact that I love the look of it.

I hope to be able to bring a more educated opinion to discussions like this sometime soon.

Everybody was once a newbe with no exception. There are tons of gun out there and everyone has has its designed purpose. They all have their pros and cons. I have a G17 and a CZ 75B and I love them both, they all shoot very well but come to what you can have compare what you paid for, I can say Glock is only good for a gun under $ 600. I paid almost the same for the CZ and CZ is way better gun then a Glock. Who like what is personal choice but seems to be some people just will jump on those who refuse a Glock. You made a good pick to get a CZ.

Well you started with as good a handgun as you can buy and perhaps the best buy at it's price point. Excellent pistol for IPSC Production, IDPA SSP or ESP. Gun is built like a tank, has an excellent service record, is reliable and extremely accurate. Is there more???

Jeff Cooper years ago called it the best of the nines when it first came out. In a crowded field, now, there aren't any better...as good in some cases but not any better.
