Another 200 rounds though the twins today. had a couple FTE right off the bat but then flawless after the first mag or two. One of them had a hundred though it already and the other was unfired.

200 went too fast with 4 magazines. I'm gonna have to start reloading for these too. They are fun and I'm glad I bought them.

ok tried mine out tonight it did not like factory load of flat points. so i tried reloads of round nose sponsored by peter2772000 . but those got jammed up quite often couldnt even put the slide back took alot of effort even with the hammer down. any suggestions of how to make this a smooth operator?

Some with similar problems polished the feed ramp and saw improvement. Mine has no feeding issues with fp or rn 124gr or 147gr but I have a FTE from time to time, go figure.

These are perfect for tinkering. I think I may try to refinish my second one if I get bored sometime. :)

I kept one bone stock and took the other one apart, polished the ever loving crap out of it...... I mean everything!!!! Feed ramp, trigger parts (yes all of them), slide rails and the slide. I even rounded the corners of the ejection port a little bit "rounder" and polished that as well. I polished everything that moves or has parts move on it in this 213..... It feeds everything I have put down it. Round ball,CMJ round nose, lead round nose, flat nose & hollow points. from 115 gr to 147 gr.

The one I kept bone stock..... feed everything?..... not so much. About all it feeds somewhat reliably is the Round ball & CMJ round nose.... even then its still spotty, Like 1 in 5 will FTL or FTE...

Polish the crap out of it.... it will work better!

Cheers!

Grips!

Hi Everyone,
I haven't said much in the forums mostly because I had nothing intelligent to add, lol. Anyway... I have recently gotten my hands on 2 different kinds of grips that fit my newly acquired M213 from CanadaAmmo. These grips are for a longer Serbian clone however after an hour of tinkering I got them to fit and they look ridiculously awesome. One grip is rubber, hogue like, and fits nicely without much adjusting. The other is walnut which took longer since I had to modify the insides, however it is my favorite. I have attached pictures for your viewing pleasure. If enough interest is expressed I will acquire more for us Canadians.

Cheers

Who said you can't put lipstick on a pig! Great pics and a very nice looking pistol. I hate to say this but I'll be ordering one tomorrow.

Take Care

Bob

ok i wont give up on it yet some polishing and tlc it will be given. the grips shown here kinda helped improve my feelings on it. btw asimons how much were the grips some more details would be great please.

rubber grip

K, I was thinking to start off with the rubber ones as well. The walnut looks better but takes some readjusting to make fit properly. I ordered a dremel kit just for that purpose. The rubber grip does need the bottom modified/shortened so that the mag can slide in all the way. How you want to do that is up to you. I cut off the entire bottom to make it flush but that made the little finger placement not as great. I'll look into ordering 100 rubber ones. The price will probably be around $30-35 shipped. Originals sell for $23 and similar Hungarian ones sell for $40-45. So I thought I'd keep it in the middle. How does that sound?

Cheers

All this weeks of resistance was futile. I've ordered mine today.:D
I have a 4 pistols case and only 3 pistols to fill it, so it's a fact that i need one more. Whoho! I can't wait to receive my 99$ wonder.

Just a note before I prepare a photo thread on the mods I did.

Shot the second one last night. Some changes though. I took out the magazine spacer and ran with the wider "spacer included" magazines from Lever. Some tweaking of the magazine lips was needed but the rounds still don't feed well. I got two magazines to feed OK over around 16 rounds but two others still won't feed the nose of the bullet up the ramp. It just sticks. The ramp hasn't been polished yet so that MAY be the issue but it also seems to be related to how the magazines seat. The notch is very slightly lower than on the stock magazines so some sort of mod may be needed. Mostly it seemed to help to just pinch flare the forward edge of the lips on the magazines so the cartridge can start to pivot up a touch sooner. Anyhow, I'll be taking and hosing some pictures soon and do a new thread write up.

The other thing that has to go or be modified is the darn safety lever. On both of them my grip tends to slide the lever forward to a mid point setting where it forces a disconnect early and the hammer crashes down onto the half #### and stops..... sure tells you if your flinch is gone or not :D

We really need a single group thread for mods and fixes similar to this purchase and gloat thread. All the various folks posting makes it hard to keep it all together. Thoughts on this? Moderators?

Anyone else running with the Lever Arms wide mags that has had any issues?
