I had a chance to make a lucky trade, so my Swiss family grew a little.

Been too busy to take any pics or do any work on them until now.

I am waiting to kit out the little guy with a complete B&T rail system like his big brother.

Until then WYSIWYG.

The CQB is a very different operating system from the Carbine. If I get the time after this weekend I will do up some photos of each stripped down.

cheers

The Surefire M900 doesn't fit properly on the B&T CQB quad rail. It will mount, but only in one spot, and it won't mount flush, because the bayonet thingy gets in the way. If you want to use the M900, you should go with a B&T bottom rail. I guarantee you'll be happier. Or, get a different light system for the CQB and put the M900 on the carbine.

Here's some pics of an old CQB I had, set up a similar way. It is possible to mount the M900, but like I said: limited to one location, and it doesn't quite sit flush to the rail:

I also recommend just keeping the bottom rail, the BT rail is to much weight up front on the little guy. Of course I also hate the Surefire M900 for the same reason, so YMMV. :)

They look great together, only a few in the Country can take that picture.;)

placing the light ahead of the FS slot will probably put alot of powder on the lense - I hate cleaning powder off the lense left on a pistol light.

True, but the choice is fairly limited with the rocking arc of the magazine.

Weight is not a big issue for me, but final sight configuration will be a Micro for that reason. With a short dot, that carbine became downright unwieldy even for a wookie like me.

Lol. Its funny, because you posted sa photo once of a girl shooting a cqb with an M900.

Wanted that gun ever since dude. (repost the photo if you've got it - I collect good SAN gun photos and that one was pretty iconic)

Yes I did once but I think it just had a TDI VG. I've never owned the surefire, the permanent weight of always having the light on the rifle never appealed to me. I'll try and find that pic but you may be thinking of a different image.

Nice pickup Sprint, I can't wait to get the B&T rail for my carbine, Wolverine said it will take 6-8 weeks. :(

My second Swiss will be a Black Special Target or Blue Star. :D

Just got my B & T rail for my CQB today! I love it, just have to decide what expensive toys to hang on it now!! Roadkill, my CQB off the bench will do 1.5 at 100 for 5 shots consistently with shells it likes - sometimes under an inch if I'm having a good day. This is with the factory peep sight. Almost seems unbelievable for a 9 inch barrel and irons! If you don't have one yet you need one!

Did you already order the rail? I have one coming right away too. In a moment of weakness I sold mine to Sprint, and now need to replace it. The 17.9 carbine target model is my absolute favorite:

Some of you die hard Sig guys may know this.

We've all seen this little guy before. 16mm height picatinny mount. Everyone has one or two.

But I NEVER knew this 10mm height picatinny mount was available from gunfactory.ch

~ 215 CHF

Would solve co witness issues as well as flush issues with B&T quad rail systems I think.

I've been browsing that site using Babelfish to navigate my way through the language barrier.

Good find. Although it does look a little limiting with the flared out front section, as far as sight placement goes.

Glad you are enjoying that little CQB. I didn't even shoot that one. ;)

Man I love that carbine. I shoulda put it on the line of credit when I had the chance.

Such stupidity that it is restricted too. De-restricting shorter barreled rifles should be another CPC initiative.

Yeah, you got that right brother.

You can always make money. You can't always get another gun though.

Nice work work boys, that Elcan looks great on there & I'm sure it out performs it's looks!!!!
Nice stuff Sprint never give up hope, just your money to someone selling a Swiss Arms!!!!!!
