They aren't 'kit' and they aren't brand new, (I've been using them all spring and summer) but, I'm really liking hunting with the Hanwag Yukons and Leupold 8x40 Pinnacles.

Decent stuff sure helps with enjoying the experience...

I'm just looking forward to using the new guns. The Marlin 336 for deer and the Winchester 1500 XTR on grouse. Oh and I got a new pair of hunting boots from Cabelas that are super warm and comfortable.

what pair of boots would that be?

Bradley Smoker, as long as i can find something to put in it!! Nothing beats fresh smoked jerky and sausages. Got one of those "jerky cannons" for doing ground, too. Also need to range something other than the neighbors houses with the Leica.
