Lets see some pics of your Tacticool VZ 58/858s

I've had enough people ask about this rail that I've worked a deal with NEA to put it into production. Keep your eyes out in the new year for some great new products that we'll be working on with NEA.

If there's anything that you guys want to see incorporated into this rail speak up.. re: mounting points, serviceability, length, etc.. shoot it out there.

:dancingbanana:

awesome stuff man.

Maybe some holes for QD sling swivels at both ends of the side rails.

# 2 of 2 is heading out to the Metal Farm. Hopefully we can hammer out the details and get something moving shortly.

I would say make this rail, and make this and a few alternate versions.

1. One that has a rail over the top (with or without BIUS holes) hooking into the rear dust cover hole or pin (extended length pin anyone?) or straight down and attacking around the stock adapter mounting point.

2. One version would be same as seen but with an extended rail back on the left hand side to mount a scope off of in the standard AK style.

3. Another option would have the rail come back on both sides and then angle up over the rear dust cover with a rail in the center on top above the rear dust cover.

Damnit, so many ideas... someone mail me a machine shop....

I want.

If it doesn't add much to production cost the sling swivel hole near the reciever would be a nice touch. If it adds a significant amount I wouldnt bother though, those who want that feature can buy the appropriate rail mounted accessory.

Ditto. I want one too!

Wooooooooah!!!

That is one fine Galil SAR Klunk!
Tell me more about the history of this one.

Dont know the history other than its the export model without all the nice Yiddish markings

and yes....the R4 and Galil are nearly identical

Kinda thought I could fool someone into thinking it was a 858....should know better;)

the 'R' stands for repetition...single shot...guess what the 'A' stands for (no...it doesnt work)
