You may have noticed that some brownshirt removed my post. Not sure why (conservative "freedom of speech"). There are much more ridiculous posts out there. Whoever did so can you PM and tell me why? Someone crying on your shoulder?
I am "Liberal" in my outlook on life. Hard to vote Conservative because I don't want to live in a mini-USA. Hard to vote NDP because if they ever got into power they would spend us into oblivion. So where do you go? Typically Republican/Conservative = Quasi Corporate/Police State, Liberal/Democrat = Middle Ground, and NDP/Communist = Broke Country. I have seen it too many times in my work to entertain any argument.
Gun registry issues aside, I believe we need to take care of our people, not jump into bed with the US every time they have some geopolitical beef, have excellent health care, top ranked education, and a good social system. The very things that eventually make a gun registry obsolete. Healthy societies have low crime rates and more freedom in firearms ownership. There is also more to a country than just firearms ownership.
And really, when you look at the registry, yes there are hassles and abuses but those are people related as they always will be. And despite a bunch of cool stuff available in the US and we can't own and play with the 12(x) stuff like we would like to, we still get a lot of great products thanks to guys like Mark at Questar, Wolverine Supplies, and TSE. A big SHOUT-OUT to the dealers in Canada for their hard work.
And as I have said before, unless you are Military/Law Enforcement or make a living from hunting, these are all just toys and we are all just a bunch of paper punching posers.
And just so I don't hijack this thread - FLAT TOP FS2000 BLACK NON-RESTRICTED
