FS2000 flat top or optic model?

Just a few years ago, if you wanted to read about or discuss cool guns you needed to go to ARFcom, now we get stuff they can only dream of getting.

Thanks guys for bringing such high end gear, if I could I would buy more stuff off you guys, but choices need to be made with limited funds, but having options is great and appreciated.

Bull... we spent close to 2 years trying to get export permits for the FS2000 and PS90's and were denied and rejected repeatedly. Cost us a lot of money in the many hours of paperwork and fees repeatedly trying to get an export permit and all out of our own pocket. That's one reason that when we did finally get the initial permit we had to recoup those costs and those first guns were more expensive than we can do them for now.

We've always brought this type of stuff in... we've never had problems moving product...

  • our biggest problem is getting export permits for some of the items people want
  • another problem this past year has been sourcing product (for quite a while we couldn't get PMAG's no matter how hard we tried, they just couldn't make them fast enough to keep up with demand)
  • and finally, the other problem is trying to meet unrealistic expectations on pricing. We don't work for free and it costs us money to do importations so our price is the price... those that whine they want to pay US pricing... well that topic has been beat to death already.

I was teasing :p.......but seriously, some dealers didn't try too hard. Those that did are well know now, especially Questar. Hell, some site sponsers can't even be bothered to have a running website.....or answer the phone.

.

There's an offer for $250 cash back on FS2000s; $200 for PS90s.

Only applies to US Sales and to get it the end-user has to supply a copy of their BATF transfer documents... we tried to get it so we could pass it along and they won't even consider doing so.

This is the same on most of the US promotions (SIG, etc.)... they won't apply them to non-US sales and they clearly state that in their promotions.

Sorry...

Mark

Dont you guys think the spent casings dribbling out the front is a bad idea? You can have live ammo hang up in the mag/chamber so why risk having spent brass getting stuck, I dont see the point of if.

I've tried to induce a malfunction by holding the trap door shut during firing. I couldn't keep it closed, even with considerable force. While I'm not about to say it can't or won't happen, I think the design of the extraction and ejection system is sound.
If nothing else, these rifles are a fantastic example of bullpup design with some unique design features. If you have the means to add it to your black rifle collection, you will not be disappointed.

What sort of warranty do we get with these rifles? I've read about some cracking stocks, breaking charging handles and a few other little odd problems related to this rifle on US boards.

What sort of service can I expect to have if I buy one of these. It's quite an expensive rifle and I don't want to be stuck with a chunk of junk plastic in the eventuality that it breaks for some odd reason.

Thanks.

Funny post aside, if you're (YOU ARE) a Liberal, I would need a coherent justification if there can be even one.

You may have noticed that some brownshirt removed my post. Not sure why (conservative "freedom of speech"). There are much more ridiculous posts out there. Whoever did so can you PM and tell me why? Someone crying on your shoulder?

I am "Liberal" in my outlook on life. Hard to vote Conservative because I don't want to live in a mini-USA. Hard to vote NDP because if they ever got into power they would spend us into oblivion. So where do you go? Typically Republican/Conservative = Quasi Corporate/Police State, Liberal/Democrat = Middle Ground, and NDP/Communist = Broke Country. I have seen it too many times in my work to entertain any argument.

Gun registry issues aside, I believe we need to take care of our people, not jump into bed with the US every time they have some geopolitical beef, have excellent health care, top ranked education, and a good social system. The very things that eventually make a gun registry obsolete. Healthy societies have low crime rates and more freedom in firearms ownership. There is also more to a country than just firearms ownership.

And really, when you look at the registry, yes there are hassles and abuses but those are people related as they always will be. And despite a bunch of cool stuff available in the US and we can't own and play with the 12(x) stuff like we would like to, we still get a lot of great products thanks to guys like Mark at Questar, Wolverine Supplies, and TSE. A big SHOUT-OUT to the dealers in Canada for their hard work.

And as I have said before, unless you are Military/Law Enforcement or make a living from hunting, these are all just toys and we are all just a bunch of paper punching posers.

And just so I don't hijack this thread - FLAT TOP FS2000 BLACK NON-RESTRICTED

*****Please lets not start a political discussion on this thread. Just briefly answering the previous post. I'll start one elsewhere*****

Getting back on topic.

Hey Mark, (Questar)
There have been many posts around the 'net about mags that will and won't work in the FS2000. Can you test the LAR coupler and see if it works in the FS2000?

Also... we're still finalizing delivery and pricing on the non-Restricted versions so those are NOT yet up on the website... we're hoping to have those added to the website in a week or so and expect delivery on those versions to be late January or more likely February 2010. Pricing is expected to be @ $3,999.99 but not yet finalized.

Mark

How much longer till the Non res ones are up for preorder on the website?

FS2000 flattop and optic models are now in stock. I will post an ad with pricing and details. The website will be updated as soon as they are ready to purchase (later tonight).
