Another Norc M4 Initial Review

Burris Timberline 2-7x and ex-high Burris tactical rings work quite well on mine. Light, bright and long eye relief so I can still stuff my stubby fingies around the charging handle.

Not a Norinco, but on one upper, I have a Burris 1 1/2-6 with Stoney Point knobs in med. rings on a riser; on another upper, a Falcon Menace 1 1/2-5, also med. rings on a riser. I put an extended latch on a charging handle, makes it easy to operate with the left hand.

To those on their high and mighty horse who claim "I buy Canadian" I will bet any money I walk into your house right now I find a hundred things made in China you could have easily got made in Canada. It comes down to money. Why would I pay the extra cash so some asshat unskilled labourer who just so happens to be unionized can make $24 an hour to screw in a nut 2000 times a day. F ck that! Thats the reason GM went to sh t and the reason all our jobs are being sent overseas. Unions are the problem, and especially in times like these the public wants to get a good price. Business is business and the bottom line is all that matters. Don't be so naive to think otherwise.

24$/hr would actually be reasonable i think, after pensions and benefits and overtimes, and seniority, the actual wage was alot higher

Sorry guy's I think we should be buying made in Canada and stop sending our money over to china. We have dealers in Canada making this stuff support them and they will get on line faster and make more stuff available. Cheap is not the way to go and there not that much cheaper in my opinion. I have a Dlask and if in the market for a third I'd get a lower from Rick at ATRS or Dlask or Socom and I see Blueline has something as well. The more we support our local manufactures the more stuff they will stat making and eventually offer better pricing.
Lets get our economy going because the chines aren't going to help us out any time soon.
I too have had norcs but you get what you pay for and when your done tricking them out you still just have a cheap norc when you buy made in Canada you got a classic rig.
just my 2c.
PS Ive seen some of the stuff that these guy's are making and its good they just aren't advertising it very well so ask around.

We live and work in a global economy, China, last time I checked was on the globe. Deal with it.

They're lousy fr*ggin things - do you have any idea what it costs to keep these damned things fed? You go to the range with a hundred bucks worth of ammo and a couple of hours (at most) later you're out and jonesing like a junkie trying to figure out where the nearest source for ammo is and how you can slide the cost past the wife. Horrible guns; load mag, ####, shoot, empty mag repeat until you're a shadow of your old financial self -and what do you get to show for it, 2 inch groups.

How much did that railed foregrip cost you? I just ordered a CQ and i'm wondering about putting on a vertical foregrip. Is there a way to attatch one of those to the stock model?

Hey bud, I tried to attach a fore grip to the factory fore stock but it would keep coming loose. So I opted to buy a NcStar car length quad rail. 6.5in one to be exact, it fits straight bolt on.

contact ki11ercane on the board here, he is a licensed dealer of NcStar

This is funny,,, but guys, this is the kind of stuff that ultimately will be used to promote prohibition of these rifles. Id rather the manual didnt say that.

I mean think about it - with the manual from the manufacturer clearly stating that the purpose of this rifle is to kill people and only kill then our days of being allowed to own the beloved AR will certainly be numbered.

just my $.02

I FRIGGEN LOVE IT!!! Best thing I have read ALL day!!! Ha ha ha!!! That manual WILL BE a collector's item in short order!!! ha ha ha

Cheers

Is that not what the AR platform was designed for? Its kind of refreshing to see it stated so simply and elegantly. Candy coating the real purpose of a military weapon is kind of stupid. We all know what they are for. Its up to us as gun owners to be realistic and responsible with these things and not play goofy games.

Now there's and ad slogan "Norinco CQ-A-556 - enjoy a better annihilating firepower" I really should put that on a T shirt. Norc logo on the back, picture of the rifle between the lines of text on the front, I wonder if they'd sue me for stealing their intellectual property?
