lets see your Norincos

That looks great Morley. What did you use to polish it?

Just sand paper! I used 320g, 600g and finished it with 3200g. Now it's just to keep it oiled up all of the time. Wipe down for a shoot and oil it up when I am done. I didn't know of anything that I could coat it with that would resist the heat. Don't know if any of it would even get warm enough to worry about. But, the way it stands, if I see any of it starting to tarnish a quick swipe of 3200g should take it all away.

Nice. Too easy. I might have to give that a go on mine :)

Since were at it. Here is mine. Newest model out, NP58. Shoots good and no real machining marks on the outside. Few on the inside on non-bearing surfaces. Sights kind suck the big one and the grips as mentioned before.

Why did you remove the safety?

The safety on these pistols is really poorly designed add-on - many people who own this gun remove it.

Firstly, it's backwards making it very easy to accidently engage it while shooting. Secondly, it's in the way - it rubs rather painfully against your thumb.

Others may have other reasons, but those were my main two for removing it.
