Lets see some pics of your Tacticool VZ 58/858s

???, even too high for his straight (adapter) Magpul stock?

Yes. Not too high from a "will it work" point of view, because it certainly will function, but too high from a "is this the best way to go" angle.

With a small red dot like an Aimpoint Micro or Bushnell TRS-25 you can co-witness on the NEA rail. If you put an Eotech on the same rail it's much higher and your iron sights are unusable without removing the Eotech.

congrats on your FSN01 , its definitely a winner.

welcome to CGN and please post more pic , its so sad that these almost made it in .:(

my humble contribution :)

Whoa!
Just finished convincing myself that I was going to leave my 858 stock.

Then you had to go and post this.

I am hesitant to ask the following for obvious reasons (bank account) but...
Would you mind listing your mods to the gun? How did you get the pistol grip to fit?

L

haha didn't think my rifle will cause such excitement here :D thank you all for your comments :)
nemesys + lmar: I did a special DIY modification to the pistol grip. It's made from old credit card pieces, paper towel and loctite :) I know it sounds odd, but the paper with loctite make kind of composite material witch is very tough (so far) ... looked like this before painting

Then I used some binding cement to fill the disparities and painted the new part with Revell MATT 87 (Earth Brown) enamel paint. The rest of the mods is: StormWerkz Vz-58 Stock Adapter Straight (very good quality), Magpul CTR Stock, Dlask VZ58 A6 Muzzlebrake, FAB hand guards ... did I forgot anything?
Mambo: it's Magpul AFG

good price sounds good
i like what kevin m has made but he's not ready yet and kinda pricey

Work is coming along on the trial run. I have a job at an Engineering firm that is helping pay for the tooling, so I have to work on it in my spare time.

Price is not set in stone, but given that these are not exactly going to be mass produced, I am pricing them accordingly, and hopefully fairly.

Kevin's work is obviously stellar.

Thanks! Coming from a respected guy like you, that means a lot to me. :D
