It is a shame that IPSC is not willing to give in, Barrie has always put on top level provincial match which has not been outdone by too many clubs in the area. Who cares if we have two range masters as long as the shooters are provided with the good course of fire. If IPSC Ontario feels that these people are incompetent they should do all the work for the match and stop giving orders on what to do, how to do it,, when did it. It is the club that has to do all the work in advance which relies on club members to help. We have to remember that IPSC is not the only discipline in the club and IPSC Ontario should be happy when any club donates the facility for the match. This is truly a personality clash with IPSC executives and should have never been allowed to get this far, as usual I guess no one has any backbone on this board. The two members in question have more likely done more for ISPC in building up the shooting sports than anyone else.

Not sure if someone has brought this up yet or not.
If memory serves me correctly there have been a few Level III's in Ontario with two RM. I seem to remember Shane Melless and his buddy Mike Galin sharing RM duties at a few level III's.
If I am correct in this recollection, why is it a issue when it is not Bud's son Co-RMing? Or is it because of this pairs performance of their duties (or lack thereof) the reason they no longer want two RM's?

Not quite...
2 years of absence , you just have to pay your membership
3 years you get an Instructor assessment (which could result in recertification)
4 years or more...you have to redo the BB
BS!!!!!
I went 1 year without being a member and I was required to get a instructor assessment. It had nothing to do with my competence either. I have been shooting IPSC for over 15 years, was a RO and a Club Rep for a number of years at two clubs.
.
It's been the IPSC Ontario policy since Dec 2006.
Ya, you right.
I have just talked with some and they say, they would rather shoot bow and arrow then take on *DPA ###![]()

I think I.P.S.C. should have black powder cap and ball wheel gun stages !
Call it Josie Wales match ! Carry 4 or 5 wheel guns and drop em when they are empty ! The IPSC rule book would then become 2 phone book sizes instead of 1 !![]()
