No way to tell as our thread diameter, tenon and several other dimensions are totally different than what a 700 is.

So if I understand the question correctly it would be like asking how much fuel economy my 5.9 Cummins would have if we pulled the engine and dropped it into a chevy.
It is just not possible to swap the Rock Creek barrel I installed on this action onto a Rem 700 for direct comparison with out some major alterations which would totally negate any possible a-b comparison.

In all honesty I do not believe that the action makes that much difference in the overall accuracy of a rifle. A properly trued and asembled 700 with the same barrel can be made to shoot incredibly well, we have done this for years, just like many other better gun makers have done.

Funny you should say that because I did just that, but that is neither here nor there.

I also believe the action does not make much difference in overall accuracy, I just thought all the talk about what groups it will shoot was kind of a moot point.

It's great there is a Canadian manufacturer of high quality actions and I hope you guys do well with them.

I agree but if you look back a few pages there were questions on how well it may shoot, so I think I answered them.

I am quite sure that if I had spun on a crap barrel and paid little attention to tolerances and fit, it very well could have shot poorly, but to do that on an expensive action would make no sense.
I think there are a few skeptics who like to rag on my efforts who were certain the action would fail immediately.
After a significant overload to proof test the action, it works really nicely.:D
 
Rick, thats a very nice target and you might find this hard to believe, but I know of an old geezer who would be more than willing to give it a test drive in an F-class match....just as a favor to you. :D

Tell ya what my friend, you can handle the rifle on Saturday, and we can discuss the F Class match over the Rum and coke you are going to buy.
The F Cass guys will likely have a cow as the stock is all camoed up, but....

Here's a 5 shot group shot on the same day from the same distance with my custom ATRS 308 with load developement done. The rest was a Versa Pod and rear sandbag. Both Rick and Greg were present. This group measured
.483 at the outer most edge of where the bullets left their dark edges. I personally find it pointless shooting at 100yds but this prooves a point I guess.
