Ideas for Dominion Arms

I think the best ideas I have seen in this thread so far:

14" lever action shotgun
M1 Carbine in 9mm, 40 SW and possibly .30 carbine
Semi-auto grizzly

Wow this is a long thread...

I just ordered a a Grizzly Mag last week. I have to say that if there was a Grizzly in semi auto, I would have ordered two shotgun sinstead of one. I am guessing that you have to order hundreds (a thousand?) to make it worthwhile, but I believe that a decent Grizzly in semi auto would sell nicely, especially since you have the shotguns priced so well.

I can get into a semi tactical, or a semi hunting/target model. Maybe a knock of the Remington 1100 or the Mossy 930.

Beyond that, I have to add that I find it hard to believe that China isn't manufacturing a strong reloading press that accepts standard dies. It would seem cheaper to make than a firearm. How about considering some RCBS knockoffs? (crazy thought isn't it?)

A semi-auto 8.5" mag fed grizzly with 8 round mags or a large drum. But I'd love for the mags to be available for the pump version first so that we can have them fit on the semi!
Restricted, I know, but wicked cool nonetheless!
Maybe a small initial batch...?

OK, we've been suggesting guns - how about ammo?

.30 Rimfire
.32 Rimfire
.41 Rimfire
.43 Mauser

...and on and on and on. Runs of 10,000 of each of these should sell out in well under six months. There are no other sources for this stuff, and a lot of fellows have been buying antique pistols and rifles and either hand-rolling their own ammo via mystical ancient methods known only to the Cognoscenti and certain high-level Masons, or simply letting those old ladies lie silent.

I know importing ammo is a lengthy and painful bureaucratic process, but I reckon a guy could make some money with this... And if loaded ammo is an issue, what about primed rimfire cases and bullets?

This is true!

What about something like the kel-tec sub2000 pistol caliber carbine with an 18.5" barrel to keep it non-restricted? It's cool that it uses pistol mags and folds in half for storage.

yes. again with the drums. we want drums! we want drums!

For ammo you would need at least a million rds to start machines, 10k is floor sweeping ;)

But I have been thinking about 32 rimfire. The main issue is plant capacity at the plant that last made it.

It would be nice to have Dominion Arm to make a series of nice case harded, engraved singleshot hunting shotgun with 28" barrel and walnut stock. Also if CanAm carry good copperplated bullets in Vancouver area would be excellent.

Where might that plant be at?

There are a lot of guns in the US that shoot this stuff too, so if you could somehow send it down there, I'm sure you'd get rid of it eventually. But a million rounds is a lot, so . . . . I suppose we'd pay more for a smaller run.

Not int eh US, but it doesn't matter where the plant is, it can go to the US.

.32 rimfire?

I've been needing some .32 Rimfire ammo for a while now! You serious?

I still say #1 should be drums for the grizzly mag feds. Then when you bring in the semi auto mag feds, make sure they use the same mags and we will get semi-auto drum fed shotguns!

*drooool*

A bolt action 7.62x39 that I can load off of the milsurp stripper clips. Extra points for interchangable 5 and ten round magazine, or 10 rounds with a five round limiter. Nothing fancy, just a plinker.

I would buy a JW-103 bush ranger with a 10rd. mag that used SKS stripper clips and a scout scope mount.
