The NEW KING is taking off!

Finally got to take the new King out for a lil test run today. Shooting 270gr factory loads, it does give you a little push, but nothing one cant handle. The one thing that was starting to get to me was the muzzle blast. As the shooting benches are under a roof. A few Advils and I was good to go, lol. Groups well with iron sights :) Saving up for the VX 3, 2.5-8 to top her off with. Some poor moose is going to be in for a world of hurt this year :D And to top the day off, Cananda Post had a set of RCBS dies waiting for me! Writen on the box was "The King" ;)

What a coincidence !!.....That was written on a box I received a couple weeks ago..... :D

Yer shur nuff a well responded to o.p..
Was intending to read the whole shebang, but took a nice long canoe trip instead.
IMO they should neck that H&H wannabe down to 17 cal.,load it blank with bullseye, and market it to the suvivalist/tacticool crowd as a standoff campfire ignition device.

Visited 2 different gun stores in Windhoek, Namibia a week ago. Several nice Mauser bolts and doubles in .375 H&H. Great selection of ammo from Norma and PMP.

Asked about the "New King" and got responses like Who?What? Do you know what you're talking about?

Seems like the "New King" is really the "Unknown King" where a .375 is really used and has a use.:dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana::D

Probably something to think about if one was to move to Namibia. Thankfully, we have a much greater selection of rifles, cartridges, components and ammunition here in North America.

No trouble with feeding the NEW KING here in good ol' North America!
