Christy talked Nugget into using his Kimber so chambered and we just took delivery yesterday of a fair stash of 180gr Nosler BTs. Was up to midnight last night necking up and loading some brass so she can get practicing for her first sheep trip this fall.

4895 seems to be the best bet here no?

The little kimber is sure out of place in that safe, all the others scream in violation when I open the door. They actually kicked it out last night.

Did you ever try those 250gr in your hot rod?

250gr round nose Interlocks, 43.5 grs H4895 did 2325 fps in the Sako. Still got 3/4 of a box so I will be trying them in the Ruger too. They look cool, and it pisses off 358 owners to hear of a 338f shooting a bullet heavier than 200gr

Who needs anything other than a 30-06 or a .338 Federal? Not most. FUn to shoot different stuff, though.

Have a box of them to try too. They worked very well on Moose and Bear in the 06 case so I doubt your new king would be any different.
