###iest handgun for a girl

It'll be tough finding the ###iest gun....because so many of them are ###y...for different reasons. Ive always found the HK P2000 and P30 to be very ###y guns, not to mention and dam* fine firearm all around....

Then there's the GP100....and while it's neither a 9mm nor a 45, there's something strangely attractive about this stocky little 357.....kind of like Angelina Jolie before she went on a crazy diet...

and this is the Uma Thurman of guns, the Browning Buck Mark Splash......kinda cute in a wierd way, but sadly, only a 22.

O.M.G! I think I just came... For my taste - that's what I call "###y"! Yeah, baby, yeah!

That said, now let me think out loud:

First off, thank you to all of you for the opinions/comments/suggestions/pictures.

Just to clarify things - I don't own a handgun but it doesn't mean I never shot one. For my almost two years membership in one of the local ranges I went through at least 3000 rounds of pistol ammo (I know, could already buy a handgun for the money I spent for membership and ammo there, lol).
However, it gave me a clear understanding what I don't like.

I shot CZ shadow - it's picky for ammo. Any aluminum case ammo brings a fun of FTF to the picture after every second round - jam jam jam....

I shot Glock 17 and Glock 21 - feels like a plastic toy to me - too light however awkward to handle. I shot baby eagle in 9mm - actually liked the feel of it and it operates flawless but it's damn ugly.

I shot sig P226 and Springfield Armory XD in 9 mm - good performance but not my cup of tea. Add to this all kind of exotic and not so handguns and revolvers in .44, .38, .357 - didn't speak to me either. Absolutely hated Beretta in anything I tried - .22, 9mm and .40.

The only two things that I didn't get to shoot is 1911 handgun and H&K. My friend has an exact copy of Colt Government 1911 (air gun tho, lol :)) It feels fantastic in my hands but I obviously never tried the real thing. Now, H&K is kinda a mystery to me. I will check who sells them locally and will go and feel it in my hand.

So, to summarize all this delirium: H&K may be "it" for me - money wise, reliability, accuracy and support (all this only from the research I have done - definitely not from experience).

So, let's narrow the search down - what you guys think - H&K or 1911 taking into account all the requirements I mentioned in my first post?

My friend 31 years 5'5" had her choice and tried them all. She settled in the end on 1911A1Commander in .45ACP with a Pachmayr American Legend grip and a Sig P226 with Sig factory grips. Both incidentally are Norinco clones - 2 for the price of 1 and very good guns. She loves 'em - calls them her daughters (LOL).

Kimber 1911 in stainless steel with some pink grips Check out my pic to the left. I love this gun. Fun to shoot not one problem and over 2000 rounds so far in a year.

Thank you, Ashley, for suggestion. I am although female but all this "pink factor" doesn't do it for me. I am mostly "black-on-black" or "stainless-steel" kinda girl.

Also, Kimber customer service is horrible. I personally called them to inquire regarding the conversion kit and they were very rude and less than helpful. So, no, sorry, no Kimber for me. :p

Why not find something that is elegant but effective. Something powerful, but possible.

Something that feels good in your hand and works for you would be 100x ###ier than something that looked good in the store but you arent confident with.

Get out there and start trying as many different guns as you can. Try different calibers too. You will find what you are looking for.

Also, dont overlook CZ's pistols.

lol, clearly you missed my post #52 above. :)

For what's it's worth my wife loves my Norinco 1911 in 45. I was going to sell it to fund another Single Action for Cowboy shooting but she told me not to sell the Magnum P.I. one. :)

The 1911 with a single stack magazine frame, tons of pieces to mod it with and info on how to tinker with it and is a classic. Still going strong after almost 100 years.

I think a woman that can shoot that hell out of a 45 1911 would be damn ###y!
