TO: Deckard
prototype
there are many prototypes of submachine guns in former Czechoslovakia - from various Slovak and Czech firms. If I will get some more info, will let you know.
I was afraid that the red dot would be in the way when wrapping around with the left hand when charging the rifle, but by the looks of this photo it can be done.
You can still use stripper clips.
There's no wobbly handguard mount issues.
You can easily take the red dot and the mount off quickly if it gets damaged for some reason and use the iron sites.
i hate to disappoint you but that mount is not very accurate. just like the SKS and AK cover mounts. won't hold zero and the POI changes depending on if it is cocked or not.
Tried my toy with the red dot today, nice tight groups but needs a bit of fine tuning still. I had to give up at 5.15 it was just too dark for the red dot. I don't know why people say red dots are good in low light conditions, I can only think they have never used one in low light.
What was immediately noticeable was how quick I was able to get back on target, I would say that accurately aimed shots are at least three times faster. The recoil seemed far less noticeable.
