I am interested to know how the cases can eject with the rail right over the ejection port.

i hate to disappoint you but that mount is not very accurate. just like the SKS and AK cover mounts. won't hold zero and the POI changes depending on if it is cocked or not.

I'm pretty sure that's not a dust cover mount but something similar to this:

It would be something very similar to flobalob's set up nice and low.

But how does it work ?

With my rifle the cases usually eject very slightly to the right, but they will often eject straight up, I have had cases fall on my head.
I made a mock up scope that protruded over the ejection port and it was hit every time, that's why I have difficulty in understanding how the rail does not get hit.

for some cheap VZ ####, if you have the movie 'doom', look in the extra features. under traing it shows the cast learning to fire weapons. they were mostly using VZ58's. they had to do stoppage drills, reloads, field stripping, just some good ol' cheap VZ ####.

Terrific work! That will be the hot set up, as soon as someone comes up with a decent red dot mount. The eye line looks just about perfect for a dot sight. I love it when people apply creativity -shows what we're capable of as individuals.
