anyone here recently brought in surplus or new factory ammo in bulk from the USA legally, and have the names of the dealers in the States they got it from. thanks.
so far you have been told everything except what you have asked.....LOL
just to add....
since someone mentioned prices are similar,,,well not really
Canadian store sells a box of 50 rounds of 45ACP here for 35.00
US store sells a box of 50 rounds of 45ACP for 15.00
all else aside - 5000 rounds we can bring into Canada, this we know
so 5000 rounds in Canada cost's us 3500.00
but in the US for 5000 rounds it costs 1500.00
hmmm I see a difference
I am not talking reloads, but factory made ammo
sometimes ammo is cheaper in the US is all I am saying........
"...experience importing ammo from the States..." Isn't worth the effort. Read the 'sticky'.
If upon your return to Canada the DHS border patrol has a flash inspection set up, you are risking jail time or an outright ban from the states.

Nonimmigrant Aliens
1. May nonimmigrant aliens legally in the United States purchase or possess firearms and ammunition while in the United States?
Nonimmigrant aliens generally are prohibited from possessing or receiving (purchasing) firearms and ammunition in the United States.
There are exceptions to this general prohibition. The exceptions are as follows:
1. nonimmigrant aliens who possess a valid (unexpired) hunting license or permit lawfully issued by a State in the United States;
This could all change if the first step in our security started at the retail level ensuring that ammo would only be sold to those law abiding citizens on both sides of the border simply by viewing a firearms license.
Just purchase an Alaska non-resident small game license for $20.
Then you can buy ammo in the states legally:
