Currently running a Rem700 aac-sd in .308, not overly big obviously so there isnt that much of a need for a break....not gonna lie....I want one for the look cool factor, cuts back on the minimal recoil, and the barrel does look weird to me threaded......

If I were to put one on, would it adversely effect my muzzle velocity or the accuracy of my rounds?

It's spelled brake and they do not affect velocity and often better accuracy is obtained with heavy recoiling rifles... and the threads are not visible when the brake is on.

with 308 it worthed, will alow you to stay on and see round striking at 500meter, also noise is not that bad, with recoil reduce, you be enjoy shooting abit more....

I have one on my .308. biggest benefit was reduction in muzzle hop. Recoil is nothing to begin with.

Noise isn't that bad with the brake. And according to my uncle who sits next to me at the bench, it isn't that bad either compared to some other braked bigger rounds.

Give Dlask a call. He makes a nice range of very effective brakes. The ones I have tested were true right out of the box and did as they were designed.

I don't think Surefire brakes are allowed for export as they allow for suppressor install. Maybe someone like Wolverine will have more info??????

However, I am sure that something similar can be made. Ask Joe, he is a superb machinist.

I hate recoil and I can double plug. Plus I love watching the bullet hit at distance.

Muzzle Brake? You sure?

It's spelled brake and they do not affect velocity.

Hey Guntech: You sure about the spelling? NC Star doesn't seem to agree with you! LOL
