Shorten PAL Approval Times

I passed both PAL and RPAL on Saturday, March 19th. Depending on how long it took my tester to mail it, the CFO would have received the following week. As I did mine the week before you, I will be a good indicator as you should recieve your about a week after me. I will post once I receive mine.

The only thing that worries me is the guy a couple of posts back that did his the beginning of March and still had not received his.

Just a note of interest, I did speak with Deb today and she stated I should have my stamped results this week...I'll post when I get it...
Secondly be aware that Canada Post is in a legal Strike position as of the 24 May and depending on how negotiations go could be on strike for a 2week to month length of time...Try to get any mail in before the 24 May..
Might want to try calling CanPost management as well and give them a piece of your mind. I did.

Thank you for the reminder on that conmaesta! That slipped my mind. My app is in however I need to send a different picture as well as my test results. Got a new picture but was waiting for my stamped results. Now I will mail the pic and fax the results once I receive them.

Thanks again!

Thanks rtangri. Once I made the realization, I went at lunch and mailed my picture right away. I also mailed the paper requesting my test results with a note attached saying I would fax them in once received.

I should be good. At least if there is a strike, my application will move on their end. I would not think that a strike will happen however need to be prepared.

Good luck in the UK. I will post if I receive my results. on that note, if the mail stops and our results are in the mail, we are pooched!!!http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif

Thanks. Unfortunately in my hast, I did not make a photocopy. Too late now. Not too worried though as when I spoke to the RCMP a week ago or so they said I just had to clearly mark my application number on the fax. I will also mark my current POL #. Should be enough but thanks for adding to my worries!

I will also follow up with a phone call to make sure the received them. Don't know why I did not think to do that. In a rush I guess.

My wife just got through to the CFO in Ontario this afternoon and they told her they just started working on February's applications and that they are going through enormous backlogs of applications. My wife application was received by them on 03/30/2011, so her 45 days are up today. The lady at the CFO said that since she called to inquire she was going to bring it to a licensing officer right away for him to review. That sounds like to she just got bumped in line!

CALL AND INQUIRE

The ladies at CFO Ontario are among (if not) THE friendliest and most pleasant Public Sector employees with whom I have ever dealt.

I hope that when certain Laws are repealed and others enacted, that they will place these ladies where we could still deal with them. (Not Revenue Canada, definitely. Not because we wouldn't like them there but because they'd clash with the CRA culture.)

Congrats but you need to realize that
