LRB M25 Goodness

simpleton, have you done this already? Also, will the USA still allow importing these LRB receivers? Thanks for any info/help,

So to be the tiniest bit pedantic, the USA is actually restricting export of things but... :)

I wouldn't' see a problem here. This receiver is not a military rifle part, it is not even an M-14 part. It is a semi-automatic receiver for a readily available commercial rifle. You should have no problems with ordering and receiving one of these. Contact the dealer listed above.

That being said, there have been some problems with the LRB receivers that have been discussed on the main US M-14 board. The receivers are being manufactured such that many (or some?) of them require machining to achieve proper headspace. If you get one of those receivers and do the machining yourself, LRB will not honor the warranty. They require that you send it back to them to have the barrel installed and the machine work done in order to keep your warranty. Gus Fisher no longer works on LRB receivers because of this problem. Great company, beautiful parts, but this one is a bit odd.

Shes a shooter

Did you chrome that enfield yourself ???

Oldsmobiler, what scope and mount are you using on your M25?

Thanks.

Its a Leupold M1 turret (1/4" MOA) 3.5-10x15 TMR reticle - perfect scope for the M14 platform. I can shoot from 100 to 600+ meters with it and still hit what I can see

The scope mount is the LRB M25 receiver with a built in rail for mounting scopes

I wonder why they don't remove the rear sight all together and run a rail right to the edge.

I'd think that most people love the M14 great sights. The M25 rail is low enough to use the sights.

If you want to get rid of your sights, you can use a Troy rail or other scope mounts.
