Hey guys, I got a question for those who have either used Tactical Innovations T.I. 25 mags or have had a similar problem with other mags. Heres whats happening: Ive adjusted the set screws for a tight fit in the rifle, but only the last round will feed, all others jam. The round is stripped off the mag, and the lower most portion of the bolt that catches the round and begins feeding it digs into the bullet of the next round and jams every time. Only the very last round will feed. Ive tried adjusting the mag this way and that but there isnt alot of room for it to move, it seems to me like the steep upward angle of the follower is the problem. BTW this is with both CCI Blazer and CCI Velocitor, both of which feed flawlessly from a factory 10 rnd mag. I get the odd successful feed with Velocitor but mostly jams, 100% FTF with Blazer. Anyone have this problem? Solutions? Ideas?
From left to right: older Ramline 30 rd, new Shooters Ridge 30 rd, Promag 32 rd, T.I. 25 rd. Notice the steep upward angle on the T.I.
A few rounds in each:
Promag on top, T.I. on bottom:
And both T.I.'s showing follower angle:
If the promags can feed 32 rds reliably with alot less angle on the follower, then why do the T.I. mags have so much angle to them?
