2011 Calgary Service Rifle Association match dates

Thank you Exocet for the clarification.

All the information from you guys at CSRA are very helpful for all shooters who want to compete at service rifle/carbine/pistol shooting match. I appreciate all the effforts and time you have put in for this.

Thank you carbonrod and beltfed for your advice. I've just picked up CZ SP-01 (bought from EE) at the postoffice today after work. As you said, I might get more magazines and start shooting it. I need to develop the shooting skills as I haven't shot pistol for a long... long time since I was a reservist in 80'.

I too shoot a shadow, so mags abound at the matches!

Next match is Sunday. We've been running matches most every week for a while now, so if you've been doing your part, you'll need to load up another 126 rnds for some rifle again.

This one is matches 1-12. 100-500m positional. Most any rifle you want to put 126 rnds through. I'll be using a 308 bolt gun, so anything can work.

email calgaryservicerifle@gmail.com if interested.

Took some pictures at the Lethbridge CQB match last Sunday.

Nick 724
Devry 704
Tony 635

A great match and a great day 30 + Celsius, with a hot "Blow Dryer" Lethbridge wind!
I'd like to than Kevin for helping to set up and run the match. I'd also like to thank all those who came out, especially all the way from Medicine Hat, Calgary and Manitoba!
A variety of guns, short, long, dots and magnified scopes. The top three scores were had with non-magnified sights. Nick got all his hits at 100 meters with irons and a VZ, good work.

More matches to be shot.

Rich

Decent match today. Conditions were warm to warm and windy.

Rich 498 -- Sig?
Greg 497 -- AR
Alex 436 -- AR
Cam 379 ---> Got cocky bragging about the infallibility of the Norc, only to have jamfest in the next 10 shots.
Brad 376 -- +4 rnds off score -- AR?
Sean 344 -- 308 Bolt gun
Eric 287 -- 16 inch ironsighted AR. First time out in ~15 yrs
Jack 237 -- 5.7? inch Sig. The rounds even sound different when they pass through the target.

See you all at the next match. Precision rifle Sept 25.

I blame Karma and maintain my position on the infallibility of the norc.

Hey guys. Planning any more matches out in Lethbridge? All moved in down here and in 'school mode', but I'm missing coming out and shooting with you all.
