RONI Glock Carbine conversion kits - Good news!

Okay, is this an agency that ISSUES a plastic shroud for a glock, or is this an agency where one guy who works there OWNS a plastic shroud for a glock?

I know a guy who works for a heavy outfit who owns a Smith 2206. But that does not mean it's a serious pistol.

Let's get it straight ONCE FOR ALL... :D

The agency DON'T ISSUE a plastic shroud for his P226... That's him with his OWN MONEY that bought a Roni G1 to fit his P226 in backup for his primary weapon.

Can we please now GET BACK TO THE ORIGINAL TOPIC?

So... The people that owns the frame from the "airsoft" company, could you please take some pictures (close and open) from the shell and also from the slide adaptor, so we can compare it to the original?

How do we know that you're not feeding us mis-information? Perhaps they do issue plastic shrouds, and other wonderous technical advantages, like shotgun bayonets, pistol bipods, box-cutter back-up knives, etc? Would you be cleared to release this information? I think not. Tell us what else they "aren't" using, so I can adjust my kit accordingly.

Ahahahaha... :D

You've just made me laugh for a good time, there! ;)
Box-cutter back-up knives... That's a good one.

Allright, now let's get over this HUGE topic derailment... :p

So this guy's plan if he ever has to use his backup 226 is to run back to his car, grab his Roni G1 Bulkifier™, put his 226 in it, then engage "tangos" from afar with a pistol round from a four and a half inch barrel?

......wow. He MUST be good.....

Would one of you guys be able to weigh your "airsoft" kit? I would like to know out of the box weight, no optics, no glock, etc. Just kit. Would be nice to see if they weight the same, may put to rest the concept of cheap polymers?

I think I will order an FDE version for kicks. Love my black one!

Hmmm, respect please? Does anybody insulted you?

I'm guessing an IQ test isn't part of the recruitment process?

FEEDBACK from the owners of these kits, please! :) I wouldn't buy it at $400 but for $125 I'd pick it up again just for ####s and giggles.

My packing slip states 1.745 Kg....it certainly isn't light weight and seems to be well made. Roni GI embossed. That's 3.8 lbs for you older folks or our American cousins :D.
After thought: it came in a plain cardboard box, with no instructions. It was clear that mine had never been assembled but from the packaging inside, it appeared to be dated. (well worn plastic bags ect.) I'll bet it's old stock that hadn't sold as the OP suggested.
For all the haters......it seems that you are either jealous or have nothing better to do with yourselves. It's obvious that you don't approve of such a device so just move along, nothing to see here.
I'm not a "tactacool" guy by any stretch but I kind of like it. Can't wait to get to the action range!

Yeah - Because I prefer sarcasm.

But answer the question. That's his plan? To save the free world with a hunk of hard plastic with a chewy 9mm center? What if he fires at a distance of "50-100 metres" and the enemy happens to be, y'know.... Wearing a sweater?

Negative... They rely more on their 50BMG / 40mm and their 7.62 & 5.56 rifles. :p

Realistically, I think the Roni is more for "training" purpose in his case...

But for Police Officer who patrols the streets or for Undercover police officer, Roni is a good alternative when your service don't give you any superior firepower (AR-15 / Shotgun / etc...)

Do you have any positivity in your blood at all? In any way? get out of the thread you keep posting the same #####y rant.

'K...so I've now got the red dot (Tasco $35 good price?) and mounted it, but what manner of sling would these things use? I do see some steel "donuts" that don't seem to have a purpose, is this where a single attachment is to be made? It would have to be a strange sling attachment that I'm not familiar with. Any Roni guys out there? Incidentally, what does the "real" thing weigh in at?
