Does anyone have one? What do you think of it? Is it reasonably BPCR competitive? Feel free to share your experiences and especially advice, any help would be appreciated.

I have one, it is the older model with a 30" barrel in 45-70 cal.
I have five 45-70,s and it could well be the most accurate of the bunch.
The only problem that I have with this gun is that the stock (comb) is so high that the sights need to be removed to clean from the breech end. That is a PITA. Though the gun will still hold zero when they are replaced! Mine really likes the gas checked LEE 500 gr. along with smokless powder. Though it will perform with black as well. I think it weigths 12lbs and with the high stock is comfortable to shoot with stout loads.
Hi,
I have the Pedersoli Longrange model in 45-90 and I shoot up to 1,000 yards with black powder and a 550 grains bullet !
Great rifle !!

The Italian sights have a lot of slop in their adj. which need to be repeatable, I have great luck with MVA sights and Red River Sights in WPG(formerly Parts Unknown).
Johnn:
Check out Buffalo arms in Montana........they have a lot of different sights and I currently have a Kelly Soule rear vernier on mine, just the Sharps blade up front for now.
Kelly makes an awsome sight along with MVA and others...check them out and be prepared to send a little extra cash for the good stuff!!!
