ACR or XCR?

I'm going to hold off my decision until the official ACR is released. If it is closer to $2000 then I'm all over it. If it is closer to $3000 then I'm getting the XCR at $2350.
After tax thats $3450 and $2600. That's $850 difference.

For that I Can buy the 7.62x39version and the .223 conversion with 1:7 twist.

The XCR is all metal and with the new FAST stock looks like a maturing product.

not sure what you mean by official ACR as it's already out. but I do like the new XCR stocks, looks almost as good as my ACR folding stock

I lol'd at the thread title change.
I love ACR
And I love XCR.
I love gunz, and gunz love me.
Cant we all get along?

My ACR is now the recipient of a 6.8SPC upgrade.
The plot thickens... :stirthepot2:
(still going to be a few months sourcing some additional components)

Where did you get the bolt?

I'd love to see a 6.5 grendel kit for the ACR. If that became available it would sway me towards the ACR.

300 AAC Blackout for hunting and 6.5 Grendel for 300-800 yards target shooting.

Still working on the bolt... they're saying January, we'll see. 300 AAC Blackout would get me really excited. Heck, at this point spare ratchet/piston assemblies would thrill me to no end... ;)

Spoke to Bushmaster, they're there, and Gravel says no...any other industry this would be unacceptable.....truthfully I'm learning a lot here ( about how the industry functions)

Yes, but I'm not getting in to it. I'm not in the industry (but now I'm thinking about it) so I'm no going to step on peoples toes. I may cause pain.

Well if you really want the 6.5 Grendel / 7.62x39 bolts. Here is the guy to talk to.
The problem is getting it through the border as he will not ship to Canada.
