Barrett 98B or PGW C14 Timberwolf??

A 338LM AI will go through 3/8" steel at 1200 yards? I have never been interested in the big Chamberings, but this sounds interesting.

True! I was there. I just wanted to punch him! Lol

Don't ban me! You would punch him too!

PM me your email address, and I'll email you some photos. wrong caliber for Canada, but it was such a nice gun for Africa.

Having used a 404 for several years, I have to say its a dandy rifle for Canada.
It is an aewsome round for use on our big critters like Bison or Moose and especially on the ones that bite back... :D

Just an update....

I received my new PGW LRT-3 on Tuesday, and I'm "over the moon". Steve flew out to Calgary especially just to hand me my rifle in person, and was on the next flight back home. That was such awesome service - I really was blown away by Ross and Steve's efforts.

Thanks guys - much appreciated.

I hope to go shooting with it sometime in the new year - just need to get a decent set of 34mm mounts.

Wanted to post some photos, but not sure how. :)

Will update again later - cheers and Merry Christmas to all of you.

that is pretty fantastic, that is the kind of thing you read and it makes you want to buy something from them. Even driving across town is an amazing gesture but flying out is some serious top tier service that clearly puts these guys above and beyond. I'm happy for all involved, I'm happy just knowing there's people that care this much about a customer. Bravo...

When I win the 6/49 or even the icbc win/lose/or draw contest I know where I'll be sending some money.

Here is the proud new owner!:D Safety Nazi's #### off in advance I blacked his hand out for other reasons;):ninja::ninja:

Wow! That is outstanding!!!!!!!! I wonder when I order mine this week if they would extend the same courtesy? Now that would be awesome!

Check out the Desert Tactical SRS.
I bought mine from The Shooting Edge in Calgary and first day out I shot 0.72 inch 3 shot group at 300 yards with factory Hornady 250 grain ammo. I'm sure I will be able to improve on this when I get some time to do some handloading.
It is only 38 inches overall length, has a 26 inch barrel and looks awesome if you like a bullpup layout. Due to the weight distribution I can shoulder and fire standing freehand as easily as a regular hunting rifle.
It's a little expensive but comes with everything you need including 2 mags, cleaning kit, tools, and soft bag with shooting mat. The mags are also long enough to fit 300 grain SMK's and have them loaded out to the right length.
Best purchase I have ever made on a firearm.

That PGW looks awesome. When I'm ready to step up to a 50 I'll have to look into that one.
