The retards at Wholesale call me today and leave a msg saying " the gun you ordered is no in stock, he will have it in 14 days then ship it out"

I ordered it over a week ago, and they just tell me this now. AFTER they charged my CC the second I put my order through.....

Did you or anyone else here who ordered on line get an email saying the gun was shipped then a call like this?

Can we cancel the orders?

Just wondering as Ive heard a lot of horror stories like this.

Who's gone was bore sighted from the factory?

MINE WASN'T that's for sure, it took 20 rounds just to get it on paper at 100 yards!

I picked one up for my girlfriend. Her first rifle, ended up getting the 111 youth model in 243 because it fit her better and the stock was nicer. Its a bit on the heavy side but for that price I couldnt pass it up! Hopefully it shoots well, and if it does I think I will replace the trigger.

Seems like it should be a good deal!

There is a reason to go with the Axis rather than the 11/111. The reason is calibre. Unfortunately the cheap 11/111 which is the FCXP3 model doesn't come in the smaller calibres, notably a couple of popular ones like 22-250 and 223.

To get those calibres you have to go either up in price, to around the $500 mark, or drop some of the extra features and get the Axis.

If you're looking for those mid range hunting calibres 243, 30-06, etc , I'd say it's worth it to get the 111 FCXP3.

Otherwise you've got to make a decision to either spend more, or live with less.

One of the biggest things the Axis has going for it is its availability in .223. At shops around here they are perpetually sold out. When new shipments come in they sell out in a few days. Despite some of the bad press it is what it is and a lot of folks like it, myself included.

I'm waiting for a lefty as well. And for my PAL to be processed so i cant hurry too much :)
Have any lefties talked to Canadian dealers about when they will be receiving left handed models?
