Although she is currently wearing an 18" barrel she's still my carbine.

That may be one of the finest looking 99s I have seen. Do tell us about the wood...

I'm into the T/C Contender carbines = no lever/bolt/semi-auto/pump action even with a 21" - 22" barrel they are still extremely short.
Here is a pic of one of my Contender's with a 14" barrel in 45 Colt which makes the barrel 2" longer than legal to hunt with here in BC.

760 Carbine in 308. Belonged to my grandfather. It's THE perfect deer rifle!

Wow, those are some great photos guys. I'ma lever guy and am biased there, but I don't think I have seen a compact carbine here I do not like. Just something about those short ones.
Anyone got an old original Winchester or Marlin trapper or baby carbine? Sure would like to see pics of one of those.
Matt

How did you get those Cast Performance bullets up here?
My Ruger #1 7x57 has a 20" barrel, but the whole rig is about the same length a bolt action with a 16" barrel. Very handy, but this one needs to find a new home.
