10/22 photos - post 'em up here!

Thanks. I actual re did it looks better now I 2 toned the rail, post a pic tomorrow. The dlask 8" is actual very accurate, so far I have only shot it with the mbus cowitness thru my bushnell t-dot but I mounted my millet dms 1-4 on it so I can give it a real go this coming weekend. The plan is to keep just the mbus on it as a simple plinker/fun gun for when I'm out wheeling.

Just got the Quad rail installed recently, locked the folding stock open with the intentions of getting a 12.5" barrel.

Any details on your folding stock operation/replacement? I was talking to another customer at TSE the other day who was telling me he pinned his Nomad folding stock and mounted a 10" barrel. Cheers.

Its a 7 position LOP with 3 position cheek rest. The button was removable so i placed a short plastic ring (about 1/4 inch high) around the spring inside and it effectively disabled the button press. screwed the stock back and its now fixed. no damaging modification needed on the stock which is always nice.

Tada!

Iron sights are important to me and I was unable to find a pair that was low enough and attaches to the picatinny rail. So I made my own. The rear sights are the williams peep that sat on the rifle but resurrected by attaching it to a weaver scope ring I was not using. I used a high scope ring to make dog ears for the front sight. I used a front sight post from a bust AR air soft a friend gave me.

I reworked the stock and stippled the grip and front end, then oiled it with tung. The rifle is 30+ years old. I've had it since I was a teenager back in the USA.

The barrel is a threaded 12.5" tapered Dlask barrel with a Levang compensator. I did not attach the UTG rail as the instructions by manufacturer. The design of disassembly just did not make any sense for maintenance. I made it so the barrel and the receiver are one piece and easily removed from the stock for cleaning.

I made a piece from aluminum to wedge the barrel with the clamp.

One piece and removes easily for cleaning. I don't know how the other guys with the UTG rail do it if they followed the manufacturers instructions?

Want to know what stock this is please? Part number and where you purchased please and thank you!!!

Either your not a Canadian gun nut or you've got some explaining to do. If you are, PM me on how you got those mags!! :D

Anyone can get them...
Drive to any boarder state, buy them and pin them to 10 rounds to make them legal.
If you don't, you just run the chance of getting into some real deep do-do with the law.
But in the end, if you can only can shoot 10 rounds from them, you might as well save some money and get the more reliable 10 round Ruger box mag..... :D

Well that doesn't help.. I do like the factory mags. The 25rd'ers are fun but seem to just get in the way. It would be nice to have some that are actually reliable though.

Don't think you are allowed to bring back mags yourself, unless you have an export permit. Not a problem with Canadian import, but with US export

Damn you did fine job! looks like you got that handguard to fit a little nicer than i did!

and i really like the stock, i'd like to know where you got it? I may have to copy that....:D

Ah, man, looks like i'll be sourcing out a new stock sooner than later. my drag bag fell outta my truck this afternoon, it flipped over and landed hard. When i opened it up to get the rifle out, my rear stock adapter was broken! That (cheap) 16.00 airsoft g36 > M4 adapter cracked and partially broke!

Now i have a hard decision to make, as there are SO many options when it comes to stocks! although see'ing yours kinda helps a bit.... ;-) I'm also interested in the rail that comes along with the stock in the kit, it appears a little lower than the original G36 rail.

GiNNz!
